"The Cheese Thief"
"The Cheese Thief" takes place in an 18th Century fantasy world. It is one of many stories within an overarching series, "Reprisal," written by Falynn Garrison and me. It focuses on the characters Zaak (a navigator of a pirate's crew) and Cheese (a wild seagull), and how this unlikely pair came to be best friends. Zaak is hard at work, drawing out a map up in the crow's nest while enjoying a delicious block of cheese. That is, until a pesky seagull comes along and attempts to steal it. While Zaak is annoyed at first, his views on the silly bird begin to change as he discovers something rather interesting about its behavior.
"His Gift"
"His Gift" is another story that takes place in the 18th Century fantasy world of "Reprisal" written by Falynn Garrison and me. This story focuses on Reprisal's main protagonist, Fearyn, a girl whose family was met with a terrible curse cast onto them by a powerful cult of necromancers. In this sequence, Fearyn is met for a second time by a great dragon god of chaos and destruction, Him. Fearyn had done Him a great favor the last time they crossed paths, so now He has come to return that favor by granting her one wish while warning her that he is unable to lift her curse. Lost and confused, she accepts his offer.
"Tinkering" is a short sequence done as a test for an upcoming project that I have had in the works for a long time now. It was meant to explore the personality of the project's potential main protagonist, an engineer named Swyft. In this sequence, Swyft is frustratingly tinkering with a wristband gadget. I wanted to explore how he might react when his technology doesn't want to cooperate with him.
